Getting Started with Giftsy

1. Create Your Profile & Add an Item

After creating an account and choosing a username, users are directed to their Profile page. To build trust and transparency within the community, they should complete all profile information and upload at least 4 photos.

ADDING ITEMS

You can browse available items right away. After sending 2 requests, we recommend adding at least 1 item to share with others.

Adding your first item helps you learn how the listing process works and lets other members discover something they may love.

When adding an item, please follow these steps:

 

-> OPTION 1 : Add an Item with AI

Step 1 : Click Add Item with AI and upload photos of your item, including:

• A full photo of the garment
• The brand tag
• The material/care label

Our AI will analyze the images and automatically generate the item description, details, and an AI-generated model image wearing the item.

Your job is to review the generated content and make sure it is accurate. AI can occasionally make mistakes, but as more items are processed, the system continues to improve and generate more accurate descriptions and images.

Providing clear photos helps us create better item information and supports more accurate impact calculations for each item.

 

Step 2 : Upload photos of the item, including the brand tag.

Step 3 : Upload a photo of the material tag.

Step 4 : AI will generate an AI model wearing your item based on your preferences. At this moment, we only have a few AI model options available for testing. More options will be added in future updates.

 

Generating the model may take 1–2 minutes. Please do not close or reload the page.

Step 5: Make sure the information is accurate. AI can make mistakes. The more we train it, the more accurate the results will become\

You can add detailed measurements to help our AI better understand the item. This can also help other users determine whether the item will fit them and improve the accuracy of our environmental impact calculations.

Step 1: Select the category
Choose the category that best matches the item.

Step 2: Upload visuals
Upload photos or videos of the item. At least two photos are required. Clear visuals help others understand the item’s condition, style, and details.
